AAHPERD
Between March 29 and April 2, 2011, the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (AAHPERD) will host their annual national convention in San Diego, California, USA. AAHPERD is the largest organization of professionals involved in physical education, physical activity, sport, and all specialties related to achieving a healthy and active lifestyle.
The goal of this annual convention is to bring together researchers and practitioners from all over the world to provide a forum for exchange of ideas in the areas of health and physical activity. This year the AAHPERD will have Drew Brees, Jack Groppel, David Katz, Apolo Ohno, John Ratey, and Lula Washington as featured speakers. For more information about the organization and its national convention visit: www.aahperd.org
I will be presenting at this convention on Friday, April 1st, at 1:00pm. My presentation is part of a symposium entitled: International Initiative of Youth Sports, Social Development, and Expertise Development.
